Hey Rob, I don't consider myself a music critic at all. But, I would be wrong if I didn't say something about your music. First let me say that I live in NY and on an Island.(not manhattan). I discovered your music from Radio Margaritaville about two years ago. I believe the song was Slow Down Summer.That song just flawed me, after 30 or so I-tune downloads I couldn't wait for the next studio CD. Out of the Blue is without a doubt another great piece of work. Your voice is so strong and the mixes are perfect. The lyrical strength is your best attribute and Out of the Blue does not disappoint. Thanks for the effort of another great CD.

I ran into Jim Hoehn at a Parrot Head event in Mannasas, Virginia. He said I should contact you about surfing. I've written a book about surfing in the 60s and 70s. Your song "Slow Down Summer" is a perfect song about that time. I'd like to include the verses in my book "Surfing Adventures of the 60s, 70s and Beyond". Let me know if it is ok to put it in my book. I also get out to California (I was just out there 2 weeks ago but was very busy) occassionally and would like to get together with you. I also write songs and play sometimes at Cheeseburger In Paradise in Pasadena, MD. Yea, Jim got me up to do a song on Sunday at the Virginia event in January, The Midwinter Meltdown, it was fun.

How can I get a hard-to-find Yamaha FGB1? It's a Folk Guitar Bamboo 1. It's an acoustic folk-type guitar made by Yamaha in 2000, maybe "before it's time". I called them today. They suggested your website. I want to know two things:
1. How do I purchase the best quality (made of bamboo) guitar I can?
2. Is it possible to help me ask Yamaha to consider making this specific product line again? It is 2007 and bamboo is a permacultural answer to the "green and sustainable" market, which certainly did not exist much in 2007.
